Bobi Kurtz’s Quadruple Release

Bobi Kurtz’s Quadruple Release

Nesianetwork.idJakarta, 1st of March 2024 – .Bobi Kurtz’ self-titled EP has been completed with his quadruple release today. Violet Snow, What a Life, Green Clouds, and Jose Human are readily available to listen to on your favourite music platform.

Violet Snow is a ballad presenting a melodramatic story of the sudden end of a relationship. The lyrics and arrangement of Violet Snow were designed to paint a picture of someone who experiences a broken heart in cold weather.

What a Life is a lively and joyous tune, but contains an underlying message. It expands on Bobi’s religious upbringing and “tragic” love life during his teenage years -- complemented by sports and art references from his earlier years.

Green Clouds is a story set in a meadow where two lovers are lying down on a slightly overcast afternoon – a place and condition where they are happy to be alongside each other all day. They engage in an intimate interaction as their minds wander into even more eclectic, dreamy places.

Lastly, Jose Human opens with a tale from a Caucasian man called Buster Jeffers, a Vietnam War veteran who struggles to fit into modern society without being vilified. As the song progresses, it will embark on multiple stories from Tyler Farrokh, Terome Stenson, and Joe Gonzalez.

“Some of the songs in this EP were written as far back as 2017, and they finally came to see the light of day. I think they’re different from one another, but each still has the soul of Bobi Kurtz,” Bobi explains.

“These songs are deeply personal – and although not every tune is directly telling a personal story of mine, they are of ideas or feelings that are ingrained in me.”

“For instance, Jose Human wasn’t easy to write in the slightest. But I think as a person looking from afar who has deep concern about the dynamic, I’d like to write a song to pay my respect to the people oppressed. Of course, I’m in no way shape or form to lecture people, nor was it ever the intention, but I just want to send my sympathy towards them.”

“Green Clouds and Violet Snow are two songs that depict polarizing feelings that I’ve experienced, which are elation and heartbreak.”

“Meanwhile, What a Life is an homage to my childhood to my 20’s – where everything was dreamy, puzzling and confusing. It’s not that it left a bad taste in my mouth, but I reckon it was vastly different from what most people went through. I tell you what, though, it certainly shaped my unorthodox perspective of life,” Bobi elaborated.

About Bobi Kurtz

Honest Review Korean Movies The Villagers, When Ma Dong Seok Becomes a Counseling Teacher Reveals the Case of a Missing Student

Honest Review Korean Movies The Villagers, When Ma Dong Seok Becomes a Counseling Teacher Reveals the Case of a Missing Student

Nesianetwork.id - In 2018, Ma Dong Seok appeared again in a thriller drama genre film with an action flavor. The film titled The Villagers aired on November 7, 2018 with a duration of 99 minutes and managed to get a gross income of US$2.8 million.

The Korean film The Villagers is directed by Im Jin-sun for producer Seo Jong-hae and the screenplay is written by Im Jin-sun.

The line-up of actors and actresses is not overwhelming, there is Ma Dong-seok as Yeok Gi-cheol, Kim Sae-ron as Kang Yoo-jin, Lee Sang-yeob as Ji Sung, Jang Gwang as Ki-tae, Oh Hee-joon as Dong -soo, Jin Seon-kyu as Byung-doo, Shin Se-hwi as Han Soo-yeon. The Villagers movie trailer.

Storyline of the movie The Villagers
Yeok Gi-cheol, played by Ma Dong-seok, has just left his job as a boxing school instructor, he then moves to a relatively remote village and registers for a vacancy as a BK teacher at a female-only high school.

His job was mostly to collect SPP fees from late or unpaid students, until one day he saw bully activity on a girl who was carrying a missing persons poster.

It turns out that the student Kang Yoo-jin played by Kim Sae-ron is also included in the list of late paying SPP, and a name that turns out to be his friend Han Soo-yeon played by  Shin Se-hwi who has "left home" for a long time.

Here lies the mystery, did Han Soo Yeon really leave home or was she kidnapped?

The thing that I have to give a thumbs up from The Villagers movie and many Korean movies in general is the many twists in one movie, it's like we are taken to the groove already knowing who is good and bad but then it is diverted with another twist even until the last minute, very interesting.

Poster Korean Movies The Villagers

That's my impression on the film that I initially underestimated with the simplicity of the plot that was developed at the beginning. But getting to the middle and towards the end of the plot twists a lot.

Kang Yoo-jin does not give up to keep looking for where his friend went, the first clue is a logo on the packaging of a match which after being traced is a night club. He was desperate to get in, luckily he was followed by the teacher Yeok Gi-cheol and saved from the gangsters.

The problem gets more complicated, when one of the young teachers who is still an intern at the same school turns out to be a pornography maniac, he installs a hidden camera in the women's toilet and manages to kidnap Kang Yoo Jin under the pretext of helping him find his friend.

The tension became more tense, when it was known that the young apprentice teacher was the son of the school principal, and this school principal was fighting in the local regent election.

There are a lot of things, finally, at the end we know that the perpetrator of Han Soo-yeon's murder is his own school principal. How is the story? one day when he felt he needed money, he joined as an entertainer in a cafe and the guest was the school principal.

He got a sick call from his grandmother, he meant to ask for permission to go home but it was not given, it turned out that he recognized the man as his school principal, not wanting his shame to be revealed he ordered his men to clean up and Han Soo Yeon mysteriously disappeared.

It was only revealed later, when Kang Yoo Jin was also considered dangerous for the school principal who was nominating the regent, he would be eliminated as well, the severity of his son getting involved again. The teacher Yeok Gi-cheol acts with a background as a boxing coach and athlete he managed to save his student.

His proximity to a young police officer who still upholds justice can finally reveal this scandal and mysterious murder. The film The Villagers, which aired on November 7, is one of the 7 Korean films released in November 2018 that are interesting to watch, along with Ode to the Goose (November 8), The Wrath (November 8), Unfinished (November 14), Happy Together ( November 15), Beautiful Days (November 21) and Unstoppable (November 22) which also stars Ma Dong Seok.

Overall, this movie is very good, recommended to watch especially for those of you who are fans of Ma Dong Seok. Happy watching.

Storyline and Ending Explanation of DUNE Movie Part One, Reminds the History of Colonization in Indonesia

Nesianetwork.id - One of the most awaited films this year has finally been released, a film that is predicted to be a competitor to the intergalactic saga Starwars and Start Trek, the film I mean is DUNE.

Dune is a 2021 American science fiction film directed by Denis Villeneuve and produced by Mary Parent, Cale Boyter, Joe Caracciolo Jr. and Denis Villeneuve.

The script for this film was written by Jon Spaihts, Eric Roth and Denis Villeneuve based on the novel Dune by Frank Herbert. Synopsis of the 2021 DUNE film
In the distant human future, Duke Leto Atreides (Oscar Isaac) accepts stewardship of a dangerous desert planet called Arrakis, also known as Dune, the sole source of the most valuable substance in the universe, the "spice", a drug that can prolong human life. , providing a very high level of human thinking and making travel at the very high speed of light possible.

Even though Leto knows that the opportunity is an elaborate trap set by his enemies, Leto brings along the Bene Gesserit concubine, Lady Jessica (Rebecca Ferguson), his son and heir to the throne, Paul (Timothée Chalamet), as well as several of Arrakis' most trusted advisors.

Leto takes over a spice mining operation, which is dangerous due to the presence of giant sandworms. A bitter betrayal leads Paul and Jessica to the Fremen, a deep desert home to the native people of Arrakis.

DUNE 2021 Film Cast
Timothée Chalamet as Paul Atreides, heir to the throne of House Atreides, Rebecca Ferguson as Lady Jessica, Paul's Bene Gesserit mother and Leto's concubine. Oscar Isaac as Duke Leto Atreides, Paul's father and newly awarded stewardship of the dangerous planet Arrakis, a source of spices.

Review and Explanation of the Ending of the 2021 DUNE Film

Many people say that watching the 2.5 hour film Dune makes you sleepy because the story is slow and there are lots of conversations, but I don't think that's the case after watching it yesterday after work.

For those of you who like films by director  Denis Villeneuve, you can definitely understand this, such are his characteristics, such as when working on the films Blade Runner 2049, Arrival 2016 and my favorite, Sicario, which was broadcast in 2016.

Predicted to be a contender for the galaxy films Star Wars and Star Trek, it seems from the story side that Dune will be able to compete.

Rather than the exploitation of shootouts or chases in empty space, the intrigue of the struggle for power and politics is very strong in this remake film.

In general, Dune tells the story of how the empire suppressed a kingdom called Atreides, the ruler of a sea-mountain planet that was growing day by day and becoming a threat to the empire.

The way to do this is by giving power to power and getting the task of mining rare and expensive minerals called "spices" on a desert planet called Arrakis.

Previously, for 80 years, this colony was managed by another kingdom called Harkonnen, suddenly this change made Harkonnen not accept it and carried out a coup which was actually predicted by King Atreides.

Unfortunately, the struggle for power occurred with a drama of betrayal from within so that Atreides was not ready to fight with all his strength.

The crown prince, the future successor to King Atrides, named Paul, survived with his mother after successfully escaping from the enemy and meeting the Fremen tribe, native to the planet Arrakis.

The film ends just when the new story starts to get exciting and hot, Paul, who is also mentioned in the prediction of the Fremen tribe to become the leader of "Al Mahdi" or "Lisan Al Ghaib" is living his destiny towards becoming the next leader of the Atreides and Fremen with the aim of regaining power. taken by the Harkonnen and the tyrannical empire.

Hopefully the Dune film will be financially successful, so that the sequel Dune Chapter Two can be produced and answer the audience's curiosity regarding the continuation of Paul's struggle, even though we know this film is based on the best-selling science fiction novel by Frank Herbert.

The technological side displayed is also interesting, sophisticated, combining futuristic and ancient sides at the same time.

The Plot of the Film Dune Reminds the History of Colonization in Indonesia
While many people associate the film Dune with terms in Islam and the Middle East, after the film ended what came to my mind was the history of colonialism in Indonesia.

The planet Arrakis is like an archipelago with its wealth of spices. Countries came that initially wanted to trade, then wanted to rule and colonize, then a collective consciousness began to emerge to fight and fight for independence.

Arrakis as a planet and the Fremen as its local population could only be seen and exploited by the invaders who came and went, the empire, the Harkonnen and the Atreides.

Similar to the archipelago and Indonesia, which at least in historical records was colonized by 6 countries because of its spice and natural wealth.

1. Portuguese
Portugal became the first country to colonize the Indonesian archipelago. The Portuguese colonized Indonesia for approximately 86 years from 1509 to 1595.

2. Spain
Spain became the second country to colonize Indonesia. Spain collaborated with the Tidore kingdom under the guise of trading spices which were very abundant in Indonesia at that time.

Spain colonized Indonesia for quite a long time, namely from 1521 to 1962.

Overall, Dune is a drama film set in the future and space war, which is interesting and recommended to watch, so you don't get sleepy, stay enthusiastic and provide coffee.

3. Netherlands
The Dutch were the country that colonized Indonesia the longest, for almost 3 and a half centuries they controlled Indonesia. The Dutch began to colonize Indonesia from 1602 to 1942.

4. France
France became the 4th country to colonize Indonesia, but France did not take as long as the previous countries that colonized Indonesia. France only colonized Indonesia for 5 years, starting from 1806 to 1811.

5. England
England became the 5th country to colonize Indonesia after France left Indonesia. The British colonized Indonesia from 1811 to 1816.

6. Japan
Japan was the last country to colonize Indonesia. And the fastest was just three and a half years, namely 1942 to 1945.

However, even for a short time, Japan was the cruelest in colonizing Indonesia compared to the previous five countries.

The Rise of Stand-Up Comedy in Indonesia, A Hilarious Journey

The Rise of Stand-Up Comedy in Indonesia, A Hilarious Journey

Nesianetwork.idStand-up comedy, once considered a Western entertainment staple, has found a vibrant and uproarious home in Indonesia. With its unique blend of cultural references, social commentary, and sheer comedic talent, the Indonesian stand-up scene has experienced a meteoric rise in popularity over the past decade. From humble beginnings to sold-out arenas, here's a closer look at the evolution of stand-up comedy in Indonesia.

Early Beginnings
The roots of stand-up comedy in Indonesia can be traced back to the late 1990s and early 2000s when a handful of comedians began experimenting with the format in small comedy clubs and cafes. Inspired by Western comedians and armed with observational humor, they started performing routines that resonated with Indonesian audiences.

The Comedy Boom
The real breakthrough for Indonesian stand-up came in the mid-2000s with the emergence of television shows dedicated to comedy. Programs like "Opera Van Java" and "Sule" brought stand-up comedy into millions of Indonesian households, introducing the art form to a wider audience.

Social Media and Digital Platforms
The advent of social media platforms like YouTube and Instagram further propelled the growth of stand-up comedy in Indonesia. Comedians began uploading their performances online, reaching an even broader audience and gaining cult followings in the process. Platforms like TikTok also became breeding grounds for budding comedians to showcase their talent and connect with fans.

Mainstream Success
As stand-up comedy continued to gain momentum, it started to infiltrate mainstream entertainment in Indonesia. Comedians like Ernest Prakasa, Pandji Pragiwaksono, and Arie Kriting became household names, performing sold-out shows and releasing comedy specials that garnered widespread acclaim.

Diversity and Inclusion
One of the most remarkable aspects of the Indonesian stand-up scene is its diversity. Comedians come from various backgrounds, representing different regions, religions, and ethnicities. This inclusivity has not only enriched the comedy landscape but has also contributed to a greater sense of unity and understanding among audiences.

Navigating Social and Political Commentary
Stand-up comedy in Indonesia has never shied away from addressing social and political issues. Comedians often use humor as a tool to critique societal norms, poke fun at politicians, and highlight pressing issues facing the country. While navigating sensitive topics can be challenging, many comedians have mastered the art of delivering sharp commentary with wit and charm.

The Future of Indonesian Stand-Up Comedy
As we look to the future, the prospects for stand-up comedy in Indonesia are brighter than ever. With a growing pool of talent, increasing access to digital platforms, and a burgeoning appetite for comedy among Indonesian audiences, the sky's the limit for this comedic phenomenon.

Stand-up comedy in Indonesia has come a long way from its humble beginnings to become a cultural force to be reckoned with. Through its humor and insight, Indonesian comedians continue to entertain, provoke thought, and bring people together in laughter—a testament to the power of comedy to transcend borders and connect us all in shared humanity.

The Story Behind My Search Found Collectibles Items Hotwheels Moto Honda Super Cub and Honda CB750 Café

The Story Behind My Search Found Collectibles Items Hotwheels Moto Honda Super Cub and Honda CB750 Café

Nesianetwork.id - Today I am very happy because I managed to get two new Hotwheels collections from the motorbike series. The two are the Honda Super Cub and Honda CB750 Cafe.

I got the Honda Super Cub Hotwheels from a local minimarket for thirty thousand rupiah or around two American dollars. The color combination is beautiful, namely white and yellow, like the original motorbike.

Meanwhile, I got the Hotwheels Honda CB750 Cafe while traveling on a car free day in Semarang, Central Java, for the same price, namely two American dollars or thirty thousand rupiah. The color is predominantly black with dark blue accents and a little orange as a sweetener.

The Hostory about Honda Super Cub
The Honda Super Cub (or Honda Cub) is a Honda underbone motorcycle with a four-stroke single-cylinder engine ranging in displacement from 49 to 124 cc (3.0 to 7.6 cu in).

In continuous manufacture since 1958 with production surpassing 60 million in 2008, 87 million in 2014, and 100 million in 2017, the Super Cub is the most produced motor vehicle* in history.

Variants include the C50, C65, C70 (including the Passport), C90, C100 (including the EX) and it used essentially the same engine as the Sports Cub C110, C111, C114 and C115 and the Honda Trail series.

The Super Cub's US advertising campaign, You meet the nicest people on a Honda, had a lasting impact on Honda's image and on American attitudes to motorcycling, and is often used as a marketing case study.

The Honda Super Cub debuted in 1958, ten years after the establishment of Honda Motor Co. Ltd. The original 1952 Honda Cub F had been a clip-on bicycle engine. Honda kept the name but added the prefix 'Super' for the all-new lightweight machine.

The Super Cub sold poorly at first, owing mainly to the recession in Japan, and then three months after the 1958 launch when customer complaints began rolling in about slipping clutches. Honda salesmen and factory workers gave up holidays to repair the affected Super Cubs, visiting each customer in person.

When it was imported to the US, the name was changed to Honda 50, and later Honda Passport C70, and C90, because the Piper Super Cub airplane trademark had precedence. Similarly, in Britain they were only badged "Honda 50", "Honda 90" etc. as the Triumph Tiger Cub preceded.

The Society of Automotive Engineers of Japan recognised the 1958 Honda Super Cub C100 as one of their 240 Landmarks of Japanese Automotive Technology.

The Hostory about Honda CB750 Cafe
The Honda CB750 is an air-cooled, transverse, in-line-four-cylinder-engine motorcycle made by Honda over several generations for year models 1969–2008 with an upright, or standard, riding posture. It is often called the original Universal Japanese Motorcycle (UJM) and also is regarded as the first motorcycle to be called a "superbike".

The CR750 is the associated works racer.

Though other manufacturers had marketed the transverse, overhead camshaft, inline four-cylinder engine configuration and the layout had been used in racing engines prior to World War II, Honda popularized the configuration with the CB750, and the layout subsequently became the dominant sport bike engine layout.

The CB750 is included in the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Classic Bikes; was named in the Discovery Channel's "Greatest Motorbikes Ever"; was in The Art of the Motorcycle exhibition, and is in the UK National Motor Museum. The Society of Automotive Engineers of Japan, Inc. rates the 1969 CB750 as one of the 240 Landmarks of Japanese Automotive Technology.

Although the CB750 nameplate has carried on throughout multiple generations, the original CB750 line from 1969-1983 was succeeded by the CBX750, which used the CB750 designation for several of its derivatives.

Honda of Japan introduced the CB750 motorcycle to the US and European markets in 1969 after experiencing success with its smaller motorcycles. In the late 1960s Honda motorcycles were, overall, the world's biggest sellers. There were the C100 Cub step-through—the best-selling motorcycle of all time the C71, C72, C77 and CA77/8 Dreams; and the CB72/77 Super Hawks/Sports.

A taste of what was ahead came with the introduction of the revolutionary CB450 DOHC twin-cylinder machine in 1966. Profits from these production bikes financed the successful racing machines of the 1960s, and lessons learned from racing were applied to the CB750. The CB750 was targeted directly at the US market after Honda officials, including founder Soichiro Honda, repeatedly met US dealers and understood the opportunity for a larger bike.

Oke that all, The Story Behind My Search Found Collectibles Items Hotwheels Moto Honda Super Cub and Honda CB750 Cafe see you next time.

Aleksiah Alternative Pop Singer from Australia Releases Single “24” Gives Solace To Her Younger Self

Nesianetwork.idBeloved Adelaide singer-songwriter aleksiah is back with a heartfelt message to her younger self  in the form of “24”. aleksiah has taken what was originally a dark and pessimistic track and  transformed it into a playful dig at her old self, serving as a hopeful reminder that things do get  better.

“24 was written at a time where I felt a lot of jealousy and self-loathing. I had just turned 22 and  felt miles behind all of my peers. I was yet to share any of my music in fear of rejection, but  instead of trying to improve my life and gain confidence, I wrote a song that called myself out on  my cynical outlook,” aleksiah shared.

“24” marks aleksiah’s change of mindset with an uptempo pace and shimmering pop  instrumentals. Battling societal expectations that deter so many young people chasing their  dreams, aleksiah captures the feeling of constantly trying to catch up but always being two steps  behind. Revisited with a fresh perspective, “24” is the reminder we all need to stop being so hard  on ourselves, enjoy the process and have faith in what the future holds.
She says “I turn 24 this year, and I think like the song says, I finally have my shit together. I want  this song to bring hope to people, just like it did to me.”

Fans and industry alike have been all about aleksiah since her debut single “Fern”, with triple j  handpicking her as their Unearthed choice for the Wayville edition of Groovin the Moo 2023 and  adding singles “Ant Song” and “Pretty Picture” to full rotation. Named as the 6th most played  triple j unearthed artist of 2023 and one of Vogue Australia’s ‘6 Australian musicians set to take  over in 2024’, aleksiah has well and truly made an impression.

With Australian artist management company, Chugg Music (Lime Cordiale, Teenage Dads) and  leading talent agency Select Music (Amy Shark, Stella Donnelly) for live representation in her  corner, aleksiah’s trajectory is on the up.

She wowed industry types at BIGSOUND 2023 and has already shared the stage and supported  the likes of Lime Cordiale, Kita Alexander, Holy Holy, Teenage Dads, Teenage Joans and more.

With a headline tour under her belt and an upcoming gig supporting Cavetown (UK), aleksiah is  carving her path to become a household name.

Plot Dune: Part Two Movies Starring Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya

Plot Dune: Part Two Movies Starring Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya

Nesianetwork.id - According to wikipedia.org, Dune: Part Two is a 2024 American epic science fiction film directed by Denis Villeneuve, who co-wrote the screenplay with Jon Spaihts. The sequel to Dune (2021), it is the second of a two-part adaptation of the 1965 novel Dune by Frank Herbert, and follows Paul Atreides as he unites with the Fremen people of the desert planet Arrakis to wage war against House Harkonnen. Timothée Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Josh Brolin, Stellan Skarsgård, Dave Bautista, Zendaya, Charlotte Rampling, and Javier Bardem reprise their roles from the first film, with Austin Butler, Florence Pugh, Christopher Walken and Léa Seydoux joining the ensemble cast.

Development began after Legendary Entertainment acquired film and television rights for Dune in 2016. Villeneuve signed on as director for the film in 2017, with the intention of making a two-part adaptation of the novel due to its complexity. Production contracts were only secured for a first film, with the second film having to be green-lit based on the first's success.

Though Villeneuve was concerned about the sequel's certainty after the first film had a simultaneous theatrical and HBO Max release, Warner Bros. Pictures assured him the sequel would happen if it performed well on HBO Max. After the critical and commercial success of the first film, Warner Bros. and Legendary green-lit Dune: Part Two in October 2021. Most of the new cast members were announced in 2022, followed by Tim Blake Nelson a year later. Principal photography took place in Budapest, Italy, Jordan and Abu Dhabi between July and December 2022.

Dune: Part Two had its world premiere at the Odeon Luxe Leicester Square in London on February 15, 2024. It is set to be released in the United States on March 1, 2024, after being delayed from a late-2023 release due to the Hollywood labor disputes.

Plot Dune: Part Two Movies Starring Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya

Princess Irulan Corrino secretly journals that Paul Atreides may still be alive, while her father, Emperor Shaddam IV, is dispirited after the fall of House Atreides. En route to Sietch Tabr on Arrakis, Stilgar's Fremen troop, including Paul and Jessica, faces a Harkonnen ambush but successfully overcomes it. At the Sietch, suspicions arise about Jessica and Paul being spies. Some Fremen have faith in Paul and Jessica, believing in the prophecy of a mother and son bringing prosperity to Arrakis.

Stilgar informs Jessica that their Reverend Mother is dying, coercing her into becoming a replacement by drinking the Water of Life, a deadly poison that is typically fatal to males. She transmutes the poison and by doing so, survives and inherits the memories of every ancestor in her genetic lineage. Unbeknownst to anyone else, Jessica is pregnant with Paul’s sister; the Water of Life has awakened the mind of her daughter as well. Following this, Jessica begins to have conversations with her in the womb and believes that those in the north of Arrakis must be convinced first of the prophecy, starting with the weak. Chani and her friend Shishakli think the prophecy is false, but when Paul makes a speech about not seeking power and only wanting to fight alongside them, Chani develops respect for him.

Paul embraces Fremen ways and learns their language, passing tests like riding a sandworm. He forms a romantic relationship with Chani and assists during raids on Harkonnen spice harvesters, earning the names ‘Muad’Dib' and 'Usul.’ Jessica nefariously guides his ascent against his own judgment, fueling the religion of which she has become a prominent figure. Rabban, whose grip on spice production has been loosening, intensifies raids on the Fremen to please the Baron, who returns to his homeworld of Giedi Prime. There, the Baron’s other nephew, Feyd-Rautha, fights in gladiator tournaments for sport. Margot Fenring, a Bene Gesserit acolyte sent by the Reverend Mother Mohiam, seduces Feyd to secure his genes should Paul be truly dead.

Jessica completes her religious quest in the north, and travels south to unite with the religious fundamentalists there. Paul, angered by her actions, stays in the north to fight the Harkonnens. Jessica learns that the Water of Life is a liquid excreted by an adolescent sandworm once it is drowned. The Baron demotes Rabban, making Feyd-Rautha ruler of Arrakis. Paul reunites with Gurney Halleck, who joined the smugglers after the Atreides’ downfall. Seeing that Paul is preparing for a war, Gurney leads him to House Atreides’ hidden nuclear warheads. Feyd's troops attack Sietch Tabr, killing Shishakli and forcing survivors, including Paul, to journey south. Against Chani's wishes, Paul drinks the Water of Life, awakening with a clearer sense of the past and future; he realizes the Baron is his grandfather.

Fremen leaders in the south hope for Paul to challenge Stilgar for leadership, but Paul denounces this, declaring himself the Lisan al-Gaib and refusing to remove his force of a great fighter such as Stilgar. He assumes full power over the Fremen and challenges the Emperor, who arrives on Arrakis with Irulan, Mohiam, and his Sardaukar troops. Paul interrupts the Emperor's confrontation with the Baron by launching nuclear warheads at Arrakeen’s stronghold fortress. Riding sandworms, the Fremen overpower Sardaukar forces and breach Arrakeen’s defenses; Gurney slays a fleeing Rabban.

Paul enters the throne room, kills the Baron, and orders the Emperor and others to be transported to the Residency. There, he threatens to destroy the spice unless the Emperor surrenders. Feyd-Rautha challenges him to a duel with the Emperor’s blade in hand and loses. With no choice, Shaddam surrenders the Imperial throne, and Irulan promises to wed Paul. Angry at his decision, Chani leaves with tears in her eyes, preparing to mount a worm elsewhere. As Paul orders attacks on ships carrying many Great Houses of the Imperium in Arrakeen airspace, Jessica and her unborn daughter discuss that this is the beginning of Muad’Dib’s holy war.
